Execution & Challenges
Audio latency was our early killer. Queries to our primary PostgreSQL database during inbound calls created a 2-second routing delay, causing callers to hang up. I resolved this by migrating our call registry from the database to a Redis memory cache, bringing the routing lag down to less than 150ms.
